Cobb County planners OK former Gov. Roy Barnes' Mableton subdivision plan

A 153-home, $50 million subdivision in Mableton proposed by former Gov. Roy Barnes and developers was approved by the Cobb Planning Commission. The commission voted 3-2 Tuesday to OK the development on a 46.4-acre site in Mableton off Burrus Lane near Chattahoochee Technical College’s Austell campus, the Marietta Daily Journal reported.
