    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

    1. Ensure all guest rooms and public spaces are clean and inspected according to Leadership Institute operational processes.

    2. Report any damages or defects discovered.

    3. Provide exceptional client service to both internal and external clients.

    4. Efficiently handle guest requests and complaints

    5. Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, classrooms, and public space prior to guest arrivals.

    6. Abide by and meet all safety and OSHA requirements and standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Qualifications:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    1. High school diploma or equivalent

    2. Two years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a full-service hotel environment

    3. Ability to work with minimum supervision, while meeting tight deadlines with strong attention to detail

    4. Ability to endure light physical labor

    5. Ability to deal discreetly with confidential or sensitive information

    6. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethical standards

    7. Flexibility to work shift schedules including nights and weekends as seen necessary

    8. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Experience working in housekeeping at a hotel

    2. Experience working in laundry at a hotel

    3. Experienced in property management systems

    4. Knowledge of OSHA standards
