    Job Summary: EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS) provides Facilities Management and Workplace Services such as operations & maintenance services, janitorial & housekeeping, grounds maintenance, mail room operations, energy management, asset management, project management and environmental health & safety to public and private sectors of nearly every market.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • This position is FT - candidate must be willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and/or weekends. Comply with safety and regulatory rules, policies, and procedures.

    • Perform and document daily inspections of the building's interior and exterior spaces

    • Perform general janitorial duties

    • Tasks include, but are not limited to:

    • Trash collection and disposal

    • Restroom cleaning & stocking

    • Mopping/buffing of hard service floors

    • Vacuuming

    • Dusting

    • Daily disinfection of common touch points

    • Stock and maintain inventory of supplies and consumables

    • Spot cleaning as required

    • Provide cleaning to clinical areas following all related policies and procedures

    • Assist with general building repairs (ie: change light bulbs, restock consumables)

    Qualifications:

    • HS Diploma or equivalent

    • 2-4 Years minimum experience in janitorial servicesPotential candidate would preferably have background cleaning in a clinical/healthcare environment.

    • Clean driving record

    • Ability to read, write and understand English

    • Excellent customer service skills in dealing with staff

    • Ability to operate a variety of common cleaning machines, i.e., vacuums, floor scrubbers/buffers, etc., as well as use common hand tools.

    • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

    • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

    • Reliability and Punctuality in all weather conditions

    • Preferable candidate will have basic technical abilities to send emails, fill out reports and use CMMS WO system.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing, reaching, bending and stooping
