    Located in the Heart of Downtown Cleveland, our marvelous 484 room hotel is looking for our next Houseperson. This is an individual who promotes a positive image for the Westin brand through attention to detail in both cleanliness and the needs of our guests. This is the perfect role for someone who loves encountering people and helping to create an extraordinary guest experience. You will be reporting to the Director of Housekeeping while following all housekeeping departmental policies and hotel cleanliness standards.

    Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.

    Must be able to see minute debris and dirt in poorly lit areas. Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. continually throughout shift. Must be able to push, pull and move levers, equipment and furniture throughout shift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work with arms raised above head throughout a shift. Must be able to be on feet and walk behind floor care equipment for full shift.

    Material/Equipment Used

    Chemicals/Agents used: Wax, stripper, sealer, carpet spotter, carpet shampoo (used daily). Protective clothing -safety shoes worn 100% of shift. Operate high speed buffer, extractor, wet vacuum (used daily).


    Prolonged strenuous physical activity in indoor climate-controlled environment. Excessive heat and humidity in laundry. Inside 80% of shift. Inside 80% of shift
