    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The Environmental Services Team Lead will lead by example, responsible for all aspects of daily Environmental Services operations treating all staff with dignity and respect. Act as departmental contact person in the absence of supervision. Respond to end-user requests and follow up to insure work is completed.

    What you will do in this role:

    • Ensure completeness of cleaning and be responsible for thorough cleaning of assigned area, including toilets/urinals, sinks, floors, plumbing fixtures, etc. Empty trash & soiled linen, restock paper supplies and soap. Ensure walls, doors, glass, horizontal surfaces are clean and free of dust and debris. Responsible for detail cleaning of beds, over-bed trays, furniture, telephones, etc.

    • You will perform terminal cleaning/disinfect all Operating C - Section Suites and support areas as assigned. Also monitor bed throughput and ensure that all discharges are being cleaned

    • You will understand floor care and daily and periodic maintenance in order to appropriately assign and oversee work.

    • You will write out work schedules and make adjustments in emergency situations.

    • You will demonstrate understanding of safety, Infection Control, Hazardous Material Handling and proper use of chemicals and supplies. Demonstrate understanding of Fire, Disaster, and other Emergency codes.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • 2-3 years proficient Health Care housekeeping experience required

    • Leadership ability and excellent oral/written communication skills required

    • High school Diploma or equivalent required
