SUMMARY: Under close supervision, performs various routine and prescribed duties to clean building areas, remove waste, maintain neat and orderly areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Under close supervision, and working from schedules, written and verbal instructions, sweeps, mops, washes, polishes, vacuums, and sanitizes walls, floors, ceilings, and windows, as directed.
Cleans and maintains offices, furniture, rest rooms, and building equipment such as water coolers, refrigerators, and the like.
Follows instructions to replenish supplies and materials in rest rooms and lunchrooms. Notifies supervisor of needed repairs, faulty equipment, and supplies.
Removes waste and separates recyclables for collection, and changes building flags.
Uses janitorial equipment, such as buffer, scrubber, vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaners, carts, and other maintenance equipment.
Assists in maintaining a safe and healthy condition on company property to achieve the best working environment possible for all employees and visitors.
Performs duties in compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
Performs duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Performs other assignments as requested or as business needs require.
