    We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as an I&E Team Lead II for our Indorama Ventures Olefin's Ethylene Plant that is in Lake Charles, LA. The I&E Team Lead II is primarily responsible for overseeing technicians and day-to-day operations of applicable units/areas. Support and provide guidance to site personnel and contractors to ensure tasks are performed safely.

    What will be expected from you?

    • Facilitates the execution of instrument/electrical work. Provide overall leadership and direction to crafts for the safe and effective execution of work. This includes routine PM's, turnaround, and outage maintenance.

    • Accountabilities include executing the daily maintenance plan, keeps weekly and daily schedules, adapts to schedule changes [Break-ins], uses SAP for feedback, assures failure codes are entered, submits work requests for work discovered during PM work execution.

    • Visits work sites to assure crafts have the resources they need to complete the job in a quality fashion.

    • Assures contractors are performing at the right level of work and at the right quality of work.

    • Approve timesheets, service tickets and review maintenance expenses while managing labor availability.

    • Assist with the supervision of capital work as needed and write variances as needed order and expedite materials and administer Management of Change.

    • Ensures all activities are in full compliance with all applicable EH&S guidelines and protocols. Assure that EH&S concerns take precedence and first priority. Conducts and facilitates Safety and other programs as needed and takes steps to assure safety corrective actions are completed.

    • Advise all areas with motor maintenance purchases, record keeping, reliability information and spare storage.

    • Assures crafts have the training, tools, methods, and procedures to complete their work safety and efficiently.

    • Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.

    • Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.

    • Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

    • Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    What are we looking for in the ideal Candidate?

    • Associate degree with instrument or electrical focus, instrument or electrical apprenticeship, and 4 years of experience OR 8+ years of specific instrument or electrical experience.

    • MUST HAVE or be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

    • Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.

    • Must be experienced in electrical blueprint reading, and basic electrical design and layout.

    • SAP experience is beneficial but not required.

    • Leadership experience.

    • Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.

    • Administers the site's behavioral-based safety program, including logging data into the BBS management system, trending data, and providing reports.

    • Serve as local system administrator for the incident management system.

    • Assist with the development of EHSQ reporting for the site location.

    • Oversee implementing and administering the Flame-Retardant Clothing, prescription eyewear, and boot voucher programs.

    • Assist in developing and distributing lessons learned and hazard alert documents.

    • Provide analysis and assessment of incident information.

    • Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and other safety assessments to support the Health and Safety management of the facility.

    • Possess the ability to multi-task effectively.

    • Perform facility audits, observations, surveys, and inspections to identify environmental, safety, and occupational hazards and weaknesses to promote effective practices and ensure compliance and develop recommendations that provide solutions, remedies, or process improvement.

    • Inform EHSQ leadership about the results of safety inspections, observations, and audits, as well as any observed deficiencies and means of mitigation.

    • Report all accidents, incidents, or events immediately to Shift Supervision and Health and Safety Manager.

    • Participate in incident investigations to guide the identification of root causes and effective corrective actions.

    • Competency in training, facilitating, and presenting to multi-disciplinary groups.
