Job Summary:

AID is looking for a Grounds Laborer to work at Keesler AFB, MS. The selected candidate will function as a member of Grounds Section team assisting in the landscaping maintenance and upkeep of Keesler AFB grounds.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses zero-turn riding mowers to cut grass

• Uses weed eaters and edging tools to perform grounds maintenance finishing work

• Uses chain saws, hedge trimmers, clippers and other hand tools to maintain shrubs and trees

• Cares for flower beds, shrubs, and trees

• Performs general grounds policing for leaves, litter, and other clean up

• Performs other related grounds upkeep duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years of related work experience

• Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, and equipment of the ground maintenance trade

• Knowledge of the hazards and standard safety precautions of the trade

• Possess a valid Mississippi Driver's License
