    We are looking for a talented Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team specializing in Facilities for our Components Business Segment in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Supervises skilled tradesmen, vendors, and contractors in a facility.

    • Supervises the daily activities of the skilled tradesmen, vendors, and contractors.

    • Provides input into annual operating plan and capital plan for the facility; ensures that expenses are within budgeted amounts.

    • Provides input into utilities expense management strategies.

    • Develops strong relationships with skilled tradesmen, vendors, and contractors; ensures that contractors completing repairs and renovations to the facility; ensures that vendors meet corporate standards and deliver promised services and materials.

    • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in the facility.

    • Supervises, coaches, and motivates staff; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Facilities Operation - Manages occupant services (parking, janitorial services, food services, concierge, facility helpdesk, security and safety); manages the maintenance contracting process; develops and manages the facility's operational planning requirements (temperature control, lighting, equipment replacement, water treatment and so forth).

    • Facilities Maintenance - Assesses the condition of the facility including its systems, structure, interiors, exteriors and grounds; manages facility operations and maintenance activities; develops and operates asset management systems for Preventative Maintenance's that uses criticality analysis, predictive tools and prioritization.

    • Facilities Design and Development - Plans and manages the design of facilities considering the requirements and needs of owners and occupants of the facility; manages and supports site construction activities in compliance to building standards.

    • Emergency Preparedness - Plans, manages and supports the site's emergency preparedness program; identifies risks and develops a risk management plan to address incidents such as power outage, flood, and fire; manages the maintenance of emergency systems for fire and flood protection; reports any system impairments.

    • Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability - Develops and directs the site's environmental stewardship using appropriate or recognized sustainability programs.

    • Facility Technology Management - Plans, directs and manages facility management business and operational technologies; evaluates, implements and operates integrated workplace management systems; conducts assessments and collaborates on facility management technology needs analysis including audio, visual, and Information Technology capacity and phone systems.

    • Data Analytics - Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; determines conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applies statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications

    College, university, or equivalent degree required.

    Experience

    Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $74,800-$112,200. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
