Sodexo is seeking a Environmental Service Manager 1, for Arnot Ogden Medical Center, located in Elmira, New York. Arnot Ogden is a 256 bed facility, where all the staff are union and on the hospital payroll. This person will manage the Environmental Service and Linen Distribution Departments. Thisis a 2nd shift position. This will report directly to the General Manager on - site.

Our Sodexo Healthcare Environmental Services / Housekeeping teams work to direct housekeeping operations at healthcare client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores.

• provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department.

• lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives.

• effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or

• support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
