Job responsibilities: Responsible for the completion of a wide variety of tasks and keeping assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition

Essential functions:

• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning buildings and washing windows

• Maintain and preserve all flooring and/ or covering by scrubbing, vacuuming and sweeping

• Clean and sanitize rest rooms and associates fixtures

• Wash walls, windows and woodwork; dust desks, bookshelves cabinets and other office furniture

• Collect and dispose of all litter, trash and debris on grounds and inside of buildings

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Limited schooling with an aptitude for performing a wide variety of tasks.

• Must understand basic cleaning compounds, disinfectants, etc. and their proper application

• Previous experience as a custodian preferred

• Experience with youth preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds up and down a flight of stairs

• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record is required.
