Regional Property Manager
JOB FUNCTIONS
Intern will primarily assist property manager(s) with all activities relating to the generation of temporary revenue, including, but not limited to:
* Cold Calling on businesses and retailers (both by phone and in person) * List vacant spaces on Craigslist * Follow up on various leads * Generate, source, and produce new leads for assigned centers * Work with leasing staff to assist in producing temporary revenue * Call on vendors/contractors who may be interested in leasing no front space & advertising * Show spaces to prospective tenants * Drive the properties with various property managers to understand market dynamics and center specifics * Any other activities or special projects that relate to temporary income
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must project a desirable image for the company.
Must be able to communicate effectively in the organization, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and move seamlessly between projects, as situation requires.
Must be able to handle crisis.
Must be able to read and understand financial reports.
Must be able to speak clearly and distinctly, using correct English.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Must be able to inspect properties including the ability to see, hear, feel, smell, and distinguish between hot and cold.
Must travel up and down stairs and ladders, through the property, both inside and outside.
Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds using proper ergonomic techniques without assistance.
Must be able to accomplish physical activities related to property operations such as hang and remove leasing signs, safely climb and descend ladders.
Must have the ability to fly or drive to and from assigned properties to perform required inspections, both during the day and at night. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage.
Must be able to see colors to assess the property’s paint condition and to develop appropriate color schemes as necessary for remodels or upgrades.
EXPERIENCE
None required, but sales experience preferred EDUCATION
Must be seeking BBA in Business, Real Estate, or related field WORKING ENVIRONMENT
