This position is in our Federal Tax Specialty Services group, which is part of our National Tax Office. The senior staff will work on a team of tax professionals that are responsible for the implementation of special projects for clients. Projects will generally include work on federal tax consulting projects including Research Credit Studies, Cost Segregation Studies, Meals & Entertainment Analysis, Transaction Cost Recovery Services, and Accounting Method Reviews. This position will provide a significant amount of client interaction, and has excellent advancement potential.
Qualifications: - BS in Accounting required - Masters in Taxation, JD or LLM is a plus - CPA or eligibilty to sit for CPA required - 2 years of public tax experience with practical experience in the implementation of tax consulting projects - Good presentation skills - Strong project management skills and federal tax technical skills are required - Willing to travel frequently
