Multimedia Designer - PART TIME ON CALL. The successful candidate will develop both conceptual and technical aspects of training and information products to create Web sites and interactive multimedia instruction using state-of-the-art tools and techniques. The candidate will participate as a member of a multimedia design team along with media and graphic artists, instructional designers, and subject matter experts. The position requires a high degree of creativity and team interaction; therefore, strong communication skills and openness to feedback are mandatory.
Basic Qualifications: Art/multimedia degree; Excellent design and creative skills; Ability to execute a design following storyboards and using authoring tools to incorporate media; Creativity and imagination to bring fresh ideas to the design of varied projects; Ability to produce visually rich solutions for print and web that convey stories and ideas to audiences; Willingness to hit the ground running in an environment that is fast-paced and constantly evolving. The candidate needs to have a high level of skill with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other standard graphics applications. Candidate must have a portfolio of work samples.
Preferred Qualifications: Web and multimedia development experience using Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Flash, and Captivate is a major plus.
