Position Summary
This position is responsible for the building operations, environmental services, parking, security, emergency preparedness and all building lease agreements. Essential Functions
Coordinates with facilities personnel to ensures that all building equipment, support systems and facilities are maintained and in good working order. Maintains the facilities contracts such as trash disposal, pest control, window washing and fire safety equipment. Coordinates routine safety inspections, fire drills, etc. Provides oversight and financial management for contracted workers required to repair, renovate or assist in building operations. Supervises the building custodians giving daily work assignments. Routinely rounds to check for cleanliness. Oversees the purchase and inventory control of restroom supplies, cleaning chemicals and EVS equipment. Provides maintenance and engineering support as required for leasing organizations. Provides support and oversight during the moving in and out of all leasing organizations. Monitors, reviews and collects all monthly leasing charges as defined in their Lease Agreement. Provides security officer oversight and ensures that all security monitoring equipment is operational and in good working order. Meets with security officers and Public Safety Officers as needed to coordinate and discuss security issues and events. Supervises the underground parking structure, ensuring its cleanliness and safety. Manages parking, both onsite and offsite for building employees. Prepares and is accountable for the annual departmental budget.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above. Demonstrated organizational, human relations and effective communication skills. Ability to orchestrate multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated knowledge of building safety codes, cleaning standards & procedures, fire standards, and security and emergency preparedness procedures. Ability to read and understand architectural schematics. Ability to understand basic budget preparation and review.

Qualifications: Required
Five years Facilities & Engineering maintenance training, apprentice or trade certification. Five years supervisory experience.
Preferred
Training in environmental service chemicals mixing and cleaning procedures.
